Executive standards

The production execution standard for wet cylinder liners is GB/T1150-2010. This standard is applicable to wet cast iron cylinder liners of reciprocating piston internal combustion engines with cylinder liner diameters less than or equal to 200mm.

The national standard for dry cylinder liners is still JB/NQ 56.1~56.3-87, with a wall thickness of 4mm for general use dry cylinder liners

Cylinder pulling phenomenon:

The mechanism of cylinder pulling damage is mostly due to local damage to the lubricating oil film at the sliding part. At this time, two relatively moving surface protrusions first come into contact with metal, and then a small "melting" phenomenon occurs locally. The melting part is torn apart due to the relative movement of the components. During this process, the metal surface forms a hardened layer, and when the hardened layer is damaged, The metal abrasive particles generated will become the abrasive material that intensifies surface wear. During the short period of so-called "melting wear", uneven wear marks parallel to the centerline of the cylinder appear on the surface of the piston and cylinder liner, which is the phenomenon of cylinder pulling. In severe cases, the sliding parts may completely adhere or get stuck, and even cracks may occur in the weak parts of the two surfaces, causing damage to the parts, namely cylinder biting. Therefore, the fundamental cause of cylinder pulling is melting wear.
